Our black Orpingtons are a sight to behold. They are very friendly and docile and make good chickens for anyone wanting a good all around bird, especially kids or a first time person into raising poultry. Wyatt with his black Orpington!! Orpingtons lay a nice big, brown egg and are fairly good layers. Here at Korfus Kluckers we are working on breeding our birds to the APA Standard of Perfection. We have had the pleasure of being able to acquire birds from some good people in the poultry world, including Cecil and Marie Moore, Gayle and Norm Pontious and many others. We have acquired some of the best stock on the west coast, in blues and blacks. We are always working hard to improve what we have, through breeding and culling.
